Inmermek Tijuana was opened in direct response to key customers' request to supply locally, and to our commitment to provide galvanizing services in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner.
This facility provides galvanizing services to both the Maquiladora* industry as well as customers across the border in the United States as far as Arizona and Nevada.
From their offices in Chula Vista, CA, International Galvanizing offers customized project management and delivery to any location in the Southwestern United States.

Mexico's region is supplied by our largest facility in Tultitlan, Mexico.
Inmermek Mexico's plant currently provides galvanizing services to Comision Federal de Electricidad (Mexico's electric federal company), for which a special certification was required and achieved.
The electric industry, as well as automotive and construction are among the most important industries serviced by this galvanizing facility.
*Maquiladora (ma•kee•la•do•ra), from Spanish maquila, meaning “miller’s portion” for processing other people’s grain. Today the term refers to Mexican assembly plants that import material and equipment on a duty free basis and later re-exporting the finished products back to the raw materials’ country of origin.
Maquiladoras are generally owned by non-Mexican corporations that take advantage of low-cost labor
